Testimony:

In October of 1986, filled with emptiness and depression from what the world had to offer, I cried out to God, asking “What is life?” Is this all there is? Are You real? The next day I went looking for a Bible that I was given in my brief time in Sunday School. As I opened the Bible and read “in the beginning God” my heart was filled with joy and peace knowing that there is a God. Over the next 5 months I began searching to find who God was and what I needed to do. In March of 1987, a friend invited me to Calvary Chapel Auburn where I accepted Jesus as my Savior! From that time I have continued to grow as His disciple through prayer and the study of His Word!

In March of 1994 I knew that the next step in my growth as His disciple was to serve Him and His body, so I began serving in the Children’s Ministry. I started as a 3rd & 4th grade teacher; then later I moved to 5th & 6th grade. Eventually I became the assistant Children’s Ministry director. In 2002, I came on staff full-time at Calvary Chapel as the new Children’s Ministry director.
