Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ reached down, touched my heart, and began to work in my life in October of 1992. I was given the greatest gift of my life. But like many gifts I have received, I did not understand or take full advantage of His gift of GRACE. The problem was that I never read the owner’s manual of this gift. I continued through my life as if nothing changed. God continued to extend Himself to me yet I did not respond and experience a true conversion until many years later. I did not understand that I needed to truly repent and responsibly make decisions that would glorify God in how I live my life. So, I made a true commitment to Jesus and took accountability for my actions rather than sitting back, just waiting to be changed. Then God truly met me right where I was and my focus now is to walk with Him rather than in front of Him, or behind Him. Although transformation continues in all of us, conversion is immediate and I now realize the difference. Now more than ever, I realize the importance of progress and finishing strong. I could never accomplish anything. It is all about what He accomplished for me to give me the strength to follow Him. You see, the owner’s manual for the greatest gift ever given is in His Word, the Bible. I look forward to each and every day to see how our LORD will work.
