Compassionate Recovery is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Auburn helping people develop a new life in Christ, and thereby enjoy continued victory over addictive and compulsive behaviors!
We are a weekly Bible study followed by small, interactive, biblically based prayer and counseling sessions that are small, intimate and confidential. It is our prayer and desire that those who have been brought into bondage by addictive behavior can know and understand we have been delivered and set free by the resurrection power of Jesus Christ and learn to walk in that renewed life.
Our mission is to help men and women break free from chronic practices that distort life’s choices and ruin relationships. We believe this is possible through a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
- Regain balance and order in our lives through active discussion of the Bible and by sharing our own experience, faith, strength and hope.
- Overcome self defeating behaviors, thoughts & addictions
- Achieve recovery in a loving, safe Christian environment
- Go beyond recovery to discover, explore & magnify the life God wants for us
- Join our community of believers who understand because they have been there
- Come to know true salvation through Jesus Christ & learn to give back by helping others
We are not:
- A crises center or hotline
- A substitute for attending church
- A professional therapy group
- A substitute for professional help or assistance
- Intended to replace or undermine any other Christian organization or group.
